The hour-long performance leaned heavily on her 2025 debut solo album, "Ruby”, and included her 2023 collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, "One of the Girls." She also performed her remix of Tame Impala's "Dracula," the genre-crossing collaboration with Kevin Parker that has become one of 2026's biggest radio hits. Notably absent from the setlist was any BLACKPINK material, keeping the focus on her solo catalog.
The night's highlight was a trio of previously unheard songs. First came "Lock It Down," a high-energy dance-pop track about a secret love affair that JENNIE had briefly previewed at Governors Ball in New York the previous month. Next was "Heaven," a more emotionally raw song about heartbreak. She closed the run of new material with "Less Than A Lover," a tender, atmospheric ballad she said was inspired by the feeling of summer, before wrapping the full set with her breakout solo hit "Like Jennie." Addressing the crowd, she said sharing new music with that many people felt special, and promised fans wouldn't have to wait long for a proper release.
The Open'er appearance lands at the commercial peak of JENNIE's solo career. "Dracula," originally released by Tame Impala in September 2025 as the third single from their album "Deadbeat", got a duet version with JENNIE on February 6, 2026 — she's credited as a co-writer alongside Kevin Parker, Sarah Aarons, and Carly Gibert. The remix has since climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Airplay chart (dated July 11), a first for both artists, and spent 37 consecutive weeks in the Hot 100's top 10 as of mid-June, peaking at No. 10 — also a first top-10 Hot 100 hit for both Parker and JENNIE.
"Ruby", JENNIE's debut solo album, arrived in 2025 and debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, spinning off five simultaneous Hot 100 entries — making her the first female K-pop soloist to place three songs on the chart at once. She's now logged six total Hot 100 entries as a soloist, more than any other female K-pop act, and the album has surpassed 3 billion Spotify streams.
That run of chart success has made JENNIE one of the most closely watched solo acts to emerge from K-pop, and her Open'er set reinforced why — treating the festival crowd as the first audience for songs likely to anchor her next release.
Open'er's closing night also featured sets from Addison Rae, PinkPantheress, and JADE, capping a four-day lineup that included headline performances from Calvin Harris, Florence and the Machine, The Cure, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
